The Partnership encompasses the electoral wards of Gurnos, Penydarren and Dowlais, which includes the communities of Galon Uchaf and Pant. In the North of Merthyr Tydfil, there is a population of approximately 15,000 people, compared to a total of 55,000 living throughout the whole borough.

Our target groups are stated as people from disadvantaged areas, but are likely to experience multiple barriers to integration into the labour market.
